Database and back-office support

NHS trusts require a database and membership support team that provides a flexible approach to engaging with a diverse community.

Mapping and reporting

We are proud to be the first NHS membership services provider to supply Google™ mapping functionality to NHS Trusts.  CMS features user-defined reporting and provides key information as visual dashboards.  Users are able to run the reports themselves, at any time and can even create their own truly bespoke reports depending on their needs.  The unique mapping functionality also provides users with the ability to visually identify the key areas of their catchment which require further development and therefore complying with regulator requirements.  

Membership targeting and trajectory

CMS incorporates a membership targeting tool, which allows users to plan and track their membership growth (on a monthly basis) by ward and member type, whilst tracking spend against the planned budget.  These targets can be reflected in a dashboard showing how the membership is actually growing against the targets that have been set for each month as well as the targeted budget spends, the actual spend and the variance, giving a quick and easy way of seeing which months were the most cost effective.

Community involvement and event management

You can also create and track member events and create invite lists for events or campaign mail-outs to your members.   The campaign and event function also allows you to:

  • track members who said they were interested or who have attended an event
  • select individuals and can also select groups of people depending on what you are trying to achieve
  • produce reports on event activity

Governor management

CMS' Governor management area allows users to view a summary of their elected and appointed governors with a their relevant information such as name, terms of office, constituency or organisation and sub-constituency.  CMS also allows users to record the committee groups and meeting attended by each governor, including the facility to record notes against each governor and a document library which will ensure all your important governor papers are stored in one place.

Our support team

We understand your time is valuable and offer support through our experienced Operations Team with all membership administration and data management.  Our back-office support solutions include:

  • hosting a trust-branded membership helpline to relieve the burden of membership enquiries from public, patient and staff members
  • data-entry support when you have large volumes of information that need processing quickly
  • assistance with tracing 'Gone Away' members who are inevitably lost during the data cleansing process.
